Thrive Patient Care Portal (Chartlink)

As of January 11th, we are required to use Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
**If you already have Clientware installed, do not change anything on it, we will use the current Clientware you have.
If you use windows VPN (SHA VPN), Cisco AnyConnect is taking place of the traditional windows VPN.

The new procedure for connecting is now: Connect using Cisco AnyConnect VPN, then launch Clientware and log in.

Follow these instructions for setting up Cisco AnyConnect VPN:
Download the file by clicking this link >> AnyConnect.

When finished downloading the file, double click it to open it and you will see a folder with files in it. Find the file Setup that has a small blue globe icon. Double click the file and the setup window will appear.

In the installer window, click “Select All” to uncheck everything.
Next, click Core & VPN only at the top. You will then have two items checked, Core & VPN, and Diagnostic and Reporting.
Click the Install Selected button. It will ask you if you are sure you want to install, click OK.
Click Accept on the User License.  The program will install.

When finished, look in your start menu and there should be a folder “Cisco”.
Expand that folder and find the Cisco Secure AnyConnect Mobility Client.
You can click and drag this to the desktop to make a shortcut on your desktop.

Double click the icon on your desktop or click the icon in your start menu, Cisco Secure AnyConnect Mobility Client. The program will start.
Click the Gear Icon and the settings page will open. Under preferences tab, uncheck the box Block connections to untrusted servers. Close the
window by clicking the X in the right top corner.

You will see the VPN connection window open. Enter the IP address that IT provided you. Click Connect.
You will see a window open asking for the user name and password. Enter the user name and password that IT provided you.
Click the Login button. You will see a message regarding our network. Click Accept.
You are now connected to AnyConnect secure VPN.

Open Clientware and you should be able to log in with no changes on Clientware.
When done, you can just double click the AnyConnect icon and choose Disconnect.



Clientware/Chartlink Download Instructions :

Download the file by clicking this link: CPSetup
When finished downloading the file, double click it to open it and you will see a folder with files in it. Find the file CPSetup. Double click it to run the installer.

You may see a User Account Control window popup. If you see this window, click the Yes button:

In the first window that appears, click the NEXT button:


4. In the next window that appears, in the HIS Server IP Address field, enter the IP that IT has provided you
In the TTY field, type 000. (3 zeros). Do not make any further changes to this window. Click the INSTALL button:


5. When the installer finishes, click the CLOSE button:


You will now see an icon on your desktop, CPSI Clientware:


Double click the icon. You will see the launcher window open. Proceed to the SETUP INSTRUCTIONS below:


1.   In the Session field, enter Chartlink  
2.   If the Default box is checked, uncheck it. 
3.   In the Host field type the IP address that IT has provided you if it is not already there.
4.   Click on the Application field and select Thrive Patient Care Portal.
5.   Click the Save button. This will save the profile for future use.

To Log In:
6.  In the User field, enter your provider ID. In the Password field, enter your Password.
7.  Click the Connect button and you will be connected to Chartlink 5.
8.  In future sessions, just select the Chartlink Session at the top of the window when you launch Clientware to log into  the Patient Care Portal.
