JOB TITLE: LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE, MEDICAL CLINIC
JOB SUMMARY: Performs direct patient care as assigned and is directly responsible to the Medical Clinic Nurse Supervisor.
REPORTS TO: MEDICAL CLINIC NURSE SUPERVISOR
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current license in the State of Tennessee.
Licensure: Current license issued by the Tennessee State Board of Nursing.
Experience: Clinical experience is desire but not mandatory. Up to three (3) months of on-the-job training and experience is normally required for satisfactory performance on this job.
JOB KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
* Knowledge of age specific needs and of the pediatric, adolescent and adult patient.
* Knowledge of growth and development of all ages of patients.
* Each patient treatment plan will be individualized to reflect their development needs.
* Knowledge of and access to information on growth and development, emotional needs and treatment measures for all ages.
