ABOUT US

We provide innovative, comprehensive cancer care with a personal touch. We are a full-service medical oncology and hematology practice with a premier team of highly trained and experienced board certified physicians, nurse practitioners and oncology-certified nurses. Our physicians practice at nearly every hospital in the region to provide continuity of care for inpatients. We proudly maintain our status as an independent, private practice.

Our practice formed in 2004 through a merger between two well-regarded, Knoxville-based oncology groups—Cancer Care of East Tennessee and East Tennessee Oncology Hematology. We have become the premier group in East Tennessee and proudly rank as the third largest group in the state. Our practice has grown to 13 physicians, and we offer services at 14 locations in the area. Although growing and serving nearly every hospital in the region, our specialists continue to maintain focus on quality care for our patients and their families.

VISION

We see each day as a chance to make our mission a reality and each patient as an opportunity to make a positive difference.

QUALITY (QOPI)

Our practice is certified through the QOPI Certification Program (QCP™), an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). We achieved QOPI® Certification by meeting or exceeding a benchmark score on measures that compared the quality of our care against national standards. By choosing a practice currently certified by QCP, you are selecting a practice committed to delivering the highest quality of cancer care to you.

REFERRING PROVIDERS

As a community-based practice, we deliver quality cancer care close to home for your patients. In addition to our medical oncology and hematology services, we also offer clinical trial, pharmacy, billing and insurance and financial counseling services. Additionally, our connections with major oncology providers provide your patients with access to comprehensive services.

Our premier team consists of highly trained and experienced board certified physicians, nurse practitioners and oncology-certified nurses. They focus on your patients’ unique situations and provide the guidance, support and medical expertise needed throughout the treatment processes. Our physicians practice at nearly every hospital in the region to provide continuity of care to your inpatients. We communicate your patients’ cancer journeys through electronic medical records.

Your patients are our priority. We welcome and appreciate your referrals.
