SHA Pelvic Floor Therapy
At Sweetwater Hospital Association Physical Therapy Department, our Pelvic Team stands out for our unwavering commitment to continuous learning and professional development. This dedication ensures that our patients always receive the most advanced and effective
treatments for their pelvic floor dysfunctions. One of our latest offerings is Pelvic Floor Therapy, a specialized form of rehabilitation that targets the pelvic floor. This personalized approach crafts a specific plan of care for each patient, helping them achieve their unique health goals. A shining example of this commitment is Savannah Tate, a Physical Therapist
Assistant at SHA. She has completed numerous courses through the Herman Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, specializing in Pelvic Floor Therapy. Savannah works with a diverse range of patients suffering from pelvic pain, including those with
urinary or fecal incontinence, prenatal and postpartum care, prostatitis, erectile dysfunction, pre and post-prostatectomy, and low back and tailbone patients. She has honed her skills to recommend treatment options and collaborate with physicians to ensure the most successful course of treatment for all patients. In June 2024, Savannah
further expanded her treatment skills by completing a course in Urogynecology Systems, enabling her to treat conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome, urinary tract infections, polycystic ovary syndrome, and endometriosis. Savannah states, “I am committed to continuous learning for my patients and I plan to pursue my Pelvic Rehabilitation Practioner Certification through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
The Physical Therapy Department at Sweetwater Hospital Association takes the

Savannah and the entire team strive to create a warm, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all patients when addressing delicate diagnoses.
