The Respiratory Care Department at Sweetwater Hospital Association is available to provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing both acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
Our team of highly trained respiratory therapists works closely with healthcare professionals to assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders.
Respiratory therapists provide a wide range of services, including:
- Oxygen therapy and respiratory assessments
- Nebulizer and inhaled medication treatments
- Mechanical ventilation management
- CPAP and BiPAP therapy
- Emergency airway management and resuscitation support
- Pulmonary function testing
- Arterial blood gas collection and analysis
- Patient education on respiratory conditions and equipment use
- Support for sleep-related breathing disorders
