Phlebotomist Full-Time
Sweetwater Hospital Association is seeking a Full-Time Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The Phlebotomist performs venipunctures and capillary collections of blood samples on inpatients, outpatients, and employees. Separates serum from red cells for specimens going to other laboratories. All clerical duties related to specimens being sent to other laboratories, including sending out reports on return from the Reference Laboratory.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Environmental Conditions:
Exposure to normal hazards of hospital laboratory setting such as: chemical exposure, needles and syringes, waste handling/infectious waste.
