Laboratory Overview
Sweetwater Hospital’s laboratory is a full service clinical lab. We perform a variety of tests on blood, urine and other body fluids. We provide quality service, including blood draws and specimen collection. We offer hospital services as well as outpatient services. We have state of the art equipment and a professional staff that puts patient care as a top priority. Our staff is made up of a board certified pathologist, state and nationally accredited medical technologists and medical laboratory technicians as well as certified phlebotomists. We also offer on the job training for phlebotomist.
We are Joint Commission accredited, licensed by the State of Tennessee and certified by the Department of Health under the Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendments (CLIA).
The Outpatient Laboratory at Sweetwater Hospital serves patients during the following hours:
Monday-Friday | 6 am – 6 pm
Saturday | 6 am – 2 pm
Sunday | CLOSED
